Maureen Becker
Welcome to our website! My name is Maureen Becker. This is my third year at Unquowa. My past travels have brought me down south to Charleston, SC, where I taught 4 year olds at a private preschool. Next on the list I headed back north to NYC where I lived in Manhattan and taught kindergarten in Brooklyn at a Charter School for 3 years. I finally found my way back home to Connecticut and a new home away from home...The Unquowa School. I have a love for first grade and make it my mission to have my students love learning! Our classroom is a community that is caring, understanding, and always exciting!
This year was fortunate enough to receive the Vigrinia F. Birdsall Grant from Unquowa in order to further my 1st grade curriculm. From August 9-20th I had the adventure of a life time as I traveled through Costa Rica! Click on the link below to view some of my pictures from CR!
